Who we are
Northland Concrete Co. is a locally operated concrete contractor based in Platte City, Missouri. We pour residential driveways, patios, sidewalks, slabs, and foundations for homeowners across Platte County and North Kansas City — plus light commercial work for Northland businesses.
Concrete is the only trade we work in. We don't dabble in roofing, fencing, or landscaping. That focus is the reason our pours hold up — and the reason our quotes are honest about what your project actually needs.
How we work
We come out, walk the project with you, take measurements, and write a clear scope. You get a price in writing. If you say go, we lock a pour date and stick to it. On pour day, the same crew that bid the job is the crew that shows up — no subcontractor handoff, no surprises.
Every pour gets the basics done right: compacted sub-base, the right mix design for the use, real reinforcement, and saw-cut control joints. These are the steps that get skipped on cheap concrete jobs — and they're the steps that determine whether your driveway looks great in 20 years or starts spider-cracking in 3.
What we won't do
- · Bid a project we can't actually complete on the date we promise
- · Skip sub-base prep to undercut another contractor's quote
- · Pour over a slab that needs to be torn out
- · Use high-pressure sales tactics — concrete is too big a decision for that
